Founded in 1981, CDF-OH champions policies and programs that lift children out of poverty, protect them from abuse and neglect and ensure their access to appropriate and targeted health care, quality education and a moral and spiritual foundation. To support children and families in Ohio, our work is broad. For starters, we focus on improving healthcare access and health outcomes for children and their families. We protect our state’s students from being pushed out due to zero-tolerance school discipline practices. We’re committed to creating a juvenile justice system that rehabilitates our youth and reduces recidivism, as well as building a high quality and stable early childhood care and education system. And we harness the power of the statewide and national CDF community to change the lives of Ohio’s children.
