Kelly Vyzral

Senior Health Policy Associate

Kelly Vyzral leads CDF-Ohio’s children’s health policy agenda with the goal that all children have access to child-specific, high quality health coverage, and services that are affordable for families and caregivers.

Kelly began her career as a legislative aide in the Ohio House of Representatives. At the State House she managed the office and worked on a broad range of constituent issues.

In 2001, she became Associate Director of Government Affairs for The Ohio State Medical Association. Over the next 15 years she directed the government relations departments for the Ohio Pharmacists Association and the Ohio Children’s Alliance. As a lobbyist, Kelly advocated for numerous causes such as: quality healthcare, affordable prescription drugs, and child welfare issues, including fighting for foster youth to maintain their supports and services through age 21.

Kelly graduated from the Ohio State University with a B.A degree in history, and is a 2003 alumni of the Institute of Organization Management.
